In 1909 Alexander Cowie used his most rare and special aged stock to create his own private release - a whisky he called Cowie's Blue Seal, a symbol representing the utmost quality. The barrels he chose were what he considered the best of the best-the select few among the brilliant Mortlach reserves - these were the stocks he deemed worthy of the 'Blue Seal'. Today, we've resurrected the symbol of the Blue Seal to mark our 20 year old release. This rich and beautiful single malt whisky is made from the barrels deemed to be of exceptional quality from the Mortlach reserves. A combination of Refill Casks with ex-Sherry casks allows the rich, robust spirit of the beast of Dufftown to come through, while growing in complexity and mellowing over 20 years to an elegant, balanced combination of pepper and cinnamon spice with smooth, mellow vanilla oak.

Hennessy X.O is the Original, the emblematic icon of the Hennessy Maison created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy. The eaux-de-vie of this cognac are aged in young barrels and marked out by their power and energy, but also by their capacity to achieve a great roundness through time. The palate opens with warm notes of candied fruit, evolving into a rich interplay of spice, pepper, and dark chocolate, layered with a gentle, rising heat. Full-bodied and voluptuous, it delivers a deep, complex experience that culminates in a long, lingering finish.

Rising with a golden quality in 1824, Cameron Bridge became the most enduring legacy of one of the oldest whisky dynasties. Regal, velvet and refined in its richness, its whiskies were renown for their silken and honeyed smooth character, a taste of which rippled around the world, with loyal subjects far and wide. This bold spirit gleams gold in the sun and swirls silky-smooth in the glass. Subtle aroma yields hints of spice, these savoury notes flanked by traces of hard toffee and shavings of fine oak. The smooth flowing texture carries a taste sweet with caramel toffee and intensely oaky-dry.

To create The Balvenie PortWood 21 year old single malt whisky, a marriage of rare Balvenie is transferred to port casks, or pipes, which have held fine port wines. Here it is sampled regularly by The Balvenie Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE to ensure that just the right amount of character is imparted by the port casks, enhancing and developing the single malt whilst preserving its original characteristics.

This exclusive Glenfiddich expression has been matured for 23 years in American and European oak casks and elegantly finished in rare French cuvée casks. The finest flavours from Scotland and France have been fused together through the art of experimentation, to redefine moments of celebration and create a new and extraordinary drinking experience.
