Deep ruby-red coloured wine, of excellent structure, harmonious and slightly tannic. Excellent with red meat dishes, seasoned cheeses and game.

Intense ruby red colour, a full-bodied wine with intense fruity perfumes, with soft, supple tannins and a long finish. Excellent with Mediterranean pasta and grilled red meat.

The wine shows bright citrus flavours with characters of lemons, limes and oranges, supported by hints of nectarines and white fleshed peaches. These interplay with impressions of passionfruit, tropical spices and Turkish musk. It expands in the mouth to become full bodied and concentrated.

The palate is generously full and fruity with plush velvety tannins that lead on to a lingering tangy aftertaste. While ready to drink on release we expect this wine to improve for several years and live for well over a decade with careful cellaring.

Upon release the wine is bright ruby in colour. There is a teasing array of vibrant red fruit on the nose including raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and plum. Spice and herbal notes, as well as a savoury underlay, add to the wine's complexity. While the palate has generous fruit weight and velvety tannins, it is balanced with refreshing acidity and a structure that gives the wine classic North Canterbury tension and pinosity.

This wine has a star bright lemon hue and while lemons, limes and mandarins come to the fore, there is a background of ripe stonefruit such as peaches and apricots. Honeysuckle and honeycomb influences come from botrytis, which has also made the wine more full bodied and concentrated. It has a spine of natural acidity and tingling minerality that helps draw out the palate structure to a citrus zest finish

Inspired by the celebrated blends of France's Southern Rhône, Penfolds Bin 138 Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2024 brings together three classic varieties sourced from well-established Barossa Valley vineyards, including treasured old vines. Matured separately in mostly seasoned oak before the final blend is assembled, each varietal contributes its own distinct personality to create a wine of harmony, depth and regional character. Fragrant aromas of cranberry, red currant and plum compote are layered with warming spices, fresh fig and subtle savoury notes. The palate is poised and beautifully balanced, combining juicy red fruits with hints of red peppercorn and spice, supported by fine, seamless tannins and bright acidity. The result is a generous yet composed Rhône-inspired blend, delivering impressive length and a finish that speaks unmistakably of the Barossa Valley.

Often affectionately known as 'Baby Grange', Bin 389 was first created by legendary Penfolds winemaker Max Schubert in 1960, combining the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness of Shiraz. The 2024 vintage carries that legacy forward with a generous, weighty palate of dark chocolate, cherry liqueur and blueberry, complemented by sweet spice, tobacco leaf and savoury ironstone notes. Fine, silken tannins and fresh acidity provide balance and length, while maturation in barrels previously used for Grange adds another layer of character. A classic Penfolds red with impressive cellaring potential through to 2051.

Inspired by the iconic Bin 707, Penfolds Bin 407 was created to showcase the character of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, bringing together ripe fruit, structure and carefully integrated French and American oak. The 2024 vintage opens with wild raspberry and blackcurrant, layered with forest floor, bay leaf, olive tapenade and warm spices, with subtle cedar and vanilla adding depth. Generous and juicy on the palate, mulberry and cherry plum glide across a broad mid-palate, framed by fresh acidity and chalky tannins, while savoury notes of barbecue jalapeño and toasted cumin drive a long, textured finish. Approachable on release yet built for the cellar, it promises to develop beautifully through to 2048.
