Crafted at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery, where the art of fine bourbon making began in 1812. Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey is crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it the malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers. An innovative twice-barreled bourbon, uniquely matured in two charred oak barrels to create its rich, layered character. After initial maturation, the bourbon is transferred to a second barrel that has been deeply toasted and lightly charred, drawing out additional soft, sweet oak notes.
