Unlike a typical 100% malt whiskey, Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey is crafted from 51% malt and aged in new charred oak barrels, making it the malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers. It delivers a richly complex profile that amplifies the nutty character found in classic Woodford Reserve. The nose opens with soft nutty notes layered with light caramel, milk chocolate and fruit, complemented by hints of brown spice, mint, brown sugar and toasted oak. On the palate, dark chocolate and caramel-coated nuts unfold alongside cocoa, brown spice, bright fruit and touches of toasted coconut, finishing with subtly sweet, nutty chocolate malt notes.

Woodford Reserve Rye pays homage to history with a pre-Prohibition style mash bill of 53% rye. Spice and tobacco lead the way, supported by layers of fruit, floral and sweet aromatics that create depth and approachability. The nose is distinctly spicy with notes of rye, black pepper, cedar and cassia bark, softened by marzipan and hints of pear, apple and almond.
